Press Release – Socceroos & Rabbitohs Choose PILA Goal Posts

 

 

Australia’s Socceroos and the South Sydney Rabbitohs joined forces at a recent NAB promotional event in Sydney. PILA’s new range of Italian designed portable soccer goal posts were the chosen product for the event and were hired for the day by NAB’s event manager Javelin Australia.

 

Wednesday May 21 saw the Australian Socceroos and the South Sydney Rabbitohs come together for the promotional match for key NAB Head Office staff at Erskineville Oval in Sydney. PILA’s portable soccer goal posts were chosen for their quality, safety and style.

 

The event featured high profile players including Roy Asotasi, David Kidwell, Nathan Merritt and Craig wing from the Rabbitohs and David Carney, Jade North, Ante Covic and Mile Sterjovski from the Socceroos.

 

The players conducted a fun skills session in front of Sydney’s media and were tested on their skills using equipment from the opposite football codes. The Rabbitohs matched the foot work skills of the Socceroos during the soccer sessions and vice versa when the Socceroos had the ball in their hands for the rugby league sessions.

 

PILA’S National Sales Manager Michael Reid said the NAB event was a fantastic success. “As many of the PILA team who could make it were there to watch the action and to get autographs from the Socceroos and Rabbitohs players. The PILA team is sports mad and will take every opportunity they can to get amongst it at events like these.”
