Victorian communities are kicking goals again

Victorian rural communities recently gained access to a set of brand new 6m/3m AFL Goal Posts that were installed at Elaine Recreation Reserve.  PILA group supplied the goal posts which will allow Auskick to visit the area for the first time.  This is a great initiative that will help build the community further and provide more opportunities to the youth of the region.

Elaine Tennis Club president, Shane Dunne said the town is “absolutely wrapped with the new goals”.

He added that “it is the first time the town has had goal posts since 1968 when the senior football club folded”.

The installation of the goal posts means that the children from Elaine and the surrounding suburbs will now be able to stay local to kick a ball around instead of travelling up to 40 minutes for the closest ground.

The project was funded by the Moorabool Shire Council through their Youth’s Event Budget.  For more information on this cost effective set of goal posts enquire online now OR CALL 1300 765 371.
